Orthopedic Physical Therapy
According to the Texas Physical Therapy State Practice Act (September 2013), physical therapy is defined as "a form of health care that prevents, identifies, corrects, or alleviates acute or prolonged movement dysfunction or pain of anatomic or physiologic origin." Education about your body, learned movement dysfunctions, and pain symptoms are the most important components to be able to change your body, thus eliminating pain and dysfunction. With Bud & Bloom PT, all of your appointments will be ONE-ON-ONE with Dr. Becky Wooster, PT. Together you will establish specific goals for your therapy to decrease pain and improve function. You will receive manual therapy during your physical therapy sessions, as well as hands-on exercise instruction. Becky will earn your trust, answer your questions, and educate you how to achieve your goals.
